Overnight rice flakes are a healthy way to bring in some variation when you are stuck on overnight oats due to convenience. They are just as easily made and come with a rather low amount of calories while containing 11 essential vitamins and minerals including iron. There is a lot to learn on how to make the perfect rice flakes as I already posted. If you want to read about my hits and misses and want to know more about rice flakes then click here.

If you master this overnight rice flakes recipe you can pretty much put whatever you want into the recipe. The world is your oyster, I've made them with banana, peanut butter, avocado, wheat grass, spirulina and mango, all sorts of berries and many other things.

I know I am leaving the third comment on your rice flake posts now but I can't get over how good this is. Got any other breakfast gems hidden away from the masses? =D

Hi Amanda, I share your enthusiasm about rice flakes. I can't believe it myself that I went over 33 years, *cough* 29 years without finding them myself. As for further hidden gems I am experimenting with other grains as we speak.
