Overnight rice flakes are a healthy way to bring in some variation when you are stuck on over night oats due to convenience. They are just as easily made and come with a rather low amount of calories while containing 11 essential vitamins and minerals including iron. If you master this overnight rice flakes recipe you can pretty much put whatever you want into the recipe. The world is your oyster, I’ve made them with banana, peanut butter, avocado, wheat grass, spirulina and mango, all sorts of berries and many other things.
Ingredients : metric ( imperial )
- 60g (1 cup) rice flakes
- 250ml (1 cup) almond milk, or any other liquid you prefer
Mix in a mason jar and leave in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, best over night. You can prepare these for up to 3 days ahead.
