Overnight rice flakes are a healthy way to bring in some variation when you are stuck on overnight oats due to convenience. They are just as easily made and come with a rather low amount of calories while containing 11 essential vitamins and minerals including iron.

Overnight Rice Flakes with Blueberries

Overnight rice flakes with fresh blueberries are a lovely alternative to overnight oats.

Ingredients

  • 60 g rice flakes
  • 250 ml almond milk or any other milk you prefer
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
  • 100 g blueberries fresh
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds

Instructions

  • Mix the rice flakes, vanilla essence and the almond milk in a mason jar. Scatter the blueberries and hemp seeds on top and leave in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, best over night. You can prepare these for up to 3 days ahead.

  • There are endless possibilities of adding flavour and superfoods since rice flakes are a lovely base.

    You seem to be topping google search on riceflakes, im going to try this! Why cant i rate this recipe but i csn others?

      I changed the design of my blog and with it I added recipe cards. It will take a few more days for me to add cards to each single recipe. It is quite a time consuming process. The recipes with recipe cards can be rated whereas the ones that are still in the old format can not be rated – yet.
