There is something calming and almost primal about taking a shower or a bath. There is an element of connection and reflection. The stress washes away and if you love to pamper yourself you know how hard it is to find the perfect products.
You want a lovely but not overpowering scent. No unnecessary ingredients, nothing too harsh but it should still leave you feeling clean. Then there is the fact that we have busy lives and it should at best leave your skin nourished and not dry so you can skip the lotion. They should not cost the world and if possible also knock on your door and leave themselves at your doorstep. But most importantly they should not be tested on animals.
Yes I am. I am the greedy vegan after all. But fear not such a place exists. It is called Trinite Village and is my virtual home for anything soap and bath related. They wrap everything individually and attach hand written little tags that remind you which of their soaps are under the delicate wrapping paper. This is especially nice when you order a batch and want to give some away or split a bigger order with friends or family.
The bath melts and soaps make wonderful gifts since they are not only a practical item but they also look very beautiful. There is something for every age and taste in their range. Why buy your loved one chocolate that only ends one way… being eaten in one go which makes you feel guilty! Instead buy them a chocolate scented soap. Yes I said it. Chocolate soap … and I am not kidding, check it out yourself!
I love each and every vegan item I tested so far and had great fun with their bath melts and soaps over the past six months as you can see in my Instagram collage below.
